Demeter Organics prides itself on using all-natural ingredients, and all of our products are produced in small-batches. As such, we elect to use no preservatives in our products as a means to extend their shelf-life. For safety purposes, we recommend all of our customers dispose of their products no later than 1 year after purchase. Within a year of purchase, your products should still be safe to use. Should you however notice any irritation on your skin from using our products at any point, please discontinue use immediately and seek guidance from a medical professional.

While Demeter Organics strives to use ingredients that are safe, gentle, and nourishing on the skin, some ingredients, such as essential oils, may cause irritation to susceptible users. For this reason, we choose to ensure our ingredients list remains transparent and accessible to all of our customers. We recommend our products only be used as directed. No, our CBD products will not make you feel inebriated or high. While CBD is traditionally derived from Cannabis, a plant that is known to contain the psychoactive chemical THC, our products contain CBD isolate which does not contain THC and therefore has no psychoactive properties.

As of September, 2024, CBD products derived from cannabis are illegal in the states of Idaho, Nebraska, and South Dakota. Even though our products do not contain any trace amounts of THC, we have chosen to restrict shipping to these states for the time being. We hope that legislation regarding CBD products will continue to develop in a progressive manner so that we may legally and safely provide our products to customers nationwide.
